| I think this is the coolest and I wanted to share it with you guys..First, I came across this my freshman year (around this time maybe later on, but that doesn't matter) and most recently I've been on a deleting rampage on my myspace inbox. I read some of the messages and this was a bulletin i posted May 8th.. Act 1 Scene 3
Roasiline doesnt love Romeo, but Romeo loves her and he is sad becasue the one he loves doesnt love him back.
Mercutio: You're in love. Borrow Cupid's Wings, and soar into the sky!
Romeo: I'm too sorely wounded by his arrow to soar with flimsy wings like his. I'm so pinned down, I couldn't jump higher than the depths of misery. I'm sunk beneath love's weight.
Merctuio: "Sinking down" makes love a burden- far to heavy for such a tender thing!
Romeo: Is love a tender thing? Surely it's too rough, too aggressive? It pricks like a thorn!
Mercutio: If love is rough with you, be rough with love! If it pricks, prick it back. It'll soon collapse! 
I'll have a real update soon but for now we'll have to deal with this because i'm super busy Soccer is starting up and i still have softball, but let's get some feedback please =) Thanks guys! |
